They specialise in service of electronics and technical products and act as customer service, warranty, returns and refurbishments for partner organisations. The White Goods Engineer job where you will undertake service and maintenance and repair to white goods at customer premises at allocated postcodes in Bristol - BS, Bath - BA & Gloucester - GL. Specifically, this includes warranty checks, fault-finding, troubleshooting, repair and modification to washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges freezers and cookers etc. according to your qualifications/strengths. Ongoing training is provided and you will be cross-trained to an expert level in additional manufacturers and product types! All the tools of the trade including company van & fuel card provided. The role also requires scheduling, customer care, health and safety H&S compliance, and some paperwork/PDA.
You will have
To be successful as White Goods Engineer, you will have appliance service/repair experience including white goods plus a healthy mix of the following:
- Manufacturer training/certification an advantage
- Multi-brand experience preferred e.g. Whirlpool/Samsung/Beko
- Good track record in maintenance/installation servicing or repairs
- F/Gas or Gas Safe registration an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills
- Health and safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for PDA
- Full driving license, and reasonable flexibility for travel/hours
