The Senior/Remediation Engineer role itself provides the chance to work on some of the UK’s most challenging contaminated land projects. You will be pivotal in assessing, planning, and executing remediation and environmental improvement initiatives across diverse sectors. Your work will involve managing teams, supporting investigations into PFAS and other contaminants, and collaborating with clients, regulators, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results in groundwater treatment, land redevelopment, and pollution response. You will have
To be successful as a Remediation Engineer here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- Experience in contaminated land, remediation, environmental engineering, or related fields
- Strong understanding of soil and groundwater contamination issues
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance standards
- Proven problem-solving and project delivery capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally when required
- Background in geo-environmental science, hydrogeology, or pollution response (preferred)
- Experience with PFAS investigation or remediation and groundwater treatment systems (advantageous)
