You will like

Leading product quality for a market-leading international manufacturer supplying premium construction products across the UK. Join a financially strong private business renowned for engineering excellence, innovation and exceptional product quality, where you'll have genuine influence across the organisation rather than simply managing quality systems.

Based from Warwick with flexible hybrid working, regular visits to Stoke-on-Trent and occasional customer site visits, you'll become the recognised technical quality expert within a collaborative Product Management team. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career with a respected global manufacturer committed to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and long-term investment in its people.

You will like

The Quality Manager job itself, where you'll lead the investigation, resolution and prevention of product quality issues across the UK business.

This is not a traditional people-management Quality Manager role. Instead, you'll act as the organisation's product quality specialist, working collaboratively across Product Management, Customer Service, Technical Support, Production and Group Quality teams to solve technical challenges, reduce business risk and continuously improve customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing product quality issues from initial investigation through to successful resolution.
  • Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for escalated technical quality concerns.
  • Working closely with Customer Service, Technical Support, Product Management and Production teams.
  • Monitoring quality KPIs, analysing trends and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Producing quality reports and presenting findings at quality review meetings.
  • Supporting product compliance, approvals, certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating quality alerts, recalls, product inspections and field actions where required.
  • Developing technical guidance, documentation and internal training materials.
  • Attending industry and compliance meetings to maintain technical standards.
  • Visiting customers where required to investigate and resolve complex product issues.
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships to improve communication and quality performance throughout the business.

NB: Full job specification is available to shortlisted candidates before interview.

You will have

To be successful as Quality Manager, you'll bring experience from a Quality, Technical, Product Management or Aftersales environment, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, building products or construction products.

You will also have:

  • Proven experience investigating and resolving product quality issues.
  • Strong root cause analysis and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Ideally you'll also possess:

  • Experience within building products, bathroom products or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, compliance and certification.
  • Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).

Just as importantly, you'll be naturally collaborative, curious and approachable, enjoying working with people as much as solving technical challenges. You'll be someone who builds trust quickly, shares knowledge and enjoys influencing others to achieve the best outcome for customers and the business.

You will get

As Quality Manager here, you'll enjoy:

  • £40K-£45K salary
