The Quality Inspector job itself where reporting to the Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for incoming component inspection and reporting. Using all relevant equipment to complete task. More specifically:
- Raising and closing off non-conformance reports.
- Sample inspection and reporting.
- Working with suppliers to understand relevant processes including fault finding/containment and countermeasure.
- Raise ECNs for processing where necessary.
- Process Production returns to supplier.
- Fault finding with Production team when product issue arises.
- Technical drawings update and control.
- Provide technical support to other departments.
- Identify off shelf product to support obsolescence.
- Update component information on the ERP system.
- Update inspection history with new information or pictures
Work shedule: 37.5 hours per week, 08.00 to 17.00 from Monday to Thursday (inclusive), and from 08.30 to 13.00 on Fridays, with a 16:00 finish every 4 weeks.
You will have
To be successful as a Quality Inspector, you will ideally be an experienced production professional with quality inspection experience in an engineering-based manufacturing environment.
