The Project Control Manager job itself where you will be responsible for project controls management relating to major capital investment and major non-routine maintenance across UK industrial sites.
As Project Control Manager, you will cover all stages of a project lifecycle, from initiating and scoping the project, through to closure, final learnings, and analytical analysis of the overall project performance.
This important new role encompasses data gathering, data management and analytical processes to predict, understand and constructively influence the time and cost outcomes of our projects, through the communication of information in formats that assist effective management and decision making.
You will work alongside lead engineers, discipline specialists and project managers to ensure adherence to corporate policies on each of our projects. You will monitor and report on project delivery performance, governance standards and management practices. You will also coordinate the capital application process and the management of capital spend, working closely with Finance, HR, Supply Chain and Procurement.
Furthermore, we’d like for you to coordinate compliance assessments across all our sites, in line with company policies, standard operating procedures, Environmental, Health, Safety and Risk, and other regulatory obligations.
You will have
To be successful as Project Control Manager you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field of study (e.g. Engineering)
- Substantial project management experience at large, multi-site operations
- Strong financial management and commercial awareness
- Able to strategically plan, develop and initiate projects
- Proven leader, able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
- Comfortable allocating resource, building, coaching and developing teams
