The Planner - SC, job role itself which offers a rewarding challenge where you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering comprehensive project programmes aligned with standards and client expectations. Your day-to-day work will involve creating project schedules, coordinating with multiple teams, and actively contributing to planning strategies that optimise productivity and manage risks. You will have

To be successful as Planner here you will be an SC Cleared Civils/Construction Planner with a healthy mix of the following:

  • A relevant Degree or HND (preferred but not essential)
  • Professional membership of RICS, CIOB, ICE, CIBSE, or similar (desirable)
  • Strong experience as a Planner or Scheduler within the construction or civil engineering sectors
  • Broad knowledge of construction methods and techniques
  • Knowledge of various contract types and planning requirements within contracts
  • Expertise in industry-standard planning tools and software
  • Ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and demands
  • Experience in producing, maintaining, and controlling project programmes at different project stages
  • Good understanding of productivity measurement, change control, and risk management strategies
