You will like

The Mechanical Fitter job itself where you will be working on, repairing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical industrial rotating equipment, pumps & gearboxes whilst working to and complying with the companies health & safety procedures and adhering to company SSW & RAMS.

You will be working in their Southampton engineering facility both in house on site at a variety of customer sites in the area, within a busy 24 hour 7 day a week operation supporting strategic customers from a well-equipped workshop environment.

  • To continue to encourage participation, innovation & creativity to improve the working environment.
  • To contribute to unrivalled quality repairs and service across a wide range of repair and maintenance services.
  • To become a key member of a successful operation working with highly experienced engineers on a variety of rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.

The role will involve working standard day shifts with the opportunity to work overtime and to work on-site with customers on occasion.

You will have

To be successful as a Mechanical Fitter you will be a multi-skilled engineer with qualifications, training or experience in a mechanical equipment environment and a healthy mix of the following:

  • Driving license.
  • Consider safety of you and your colleagues as #1 priority
  • Work well in a team
  • Can work on your own under your own initiative
