The Mechanical Design Engineer role itself offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of complex, high-value projects from concept through to construction. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating vital mechanical building services systems. This includes producing innovative HVAC, ventilation, heating, cooling, and domestic services designs. You'll support pre-construction, tendering, and delivery teams with essential technical input, whilst collaborating closely with BIM and coordination teams to ensure your designs are buildable and fully integrated. Your work will directly influence the successful realisation of large-scale developments, making your role both impactful and rewarding.

You will have

To be succesful as a Mechanical Design Engineer here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

• Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within building services, preferably with exposure to complex, multi-unit projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, central plant, and innovative energy solutions.
• Proven ability to produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Experience supporting projects through pre-construction, design, and construction phases.
• Qualifications such as an HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, consultants, and onsite staff.
• Experience within residential, student accommodation, or hotel sectors would be advantageous but not essential.
