Due to sustainable growth, they are now looking for an M&E Estimating Manager to join their team in Birmingham.
You will like
The M&E Estimating Manager job itself where you will take charge of a team of 4 and manage the day-to-day activities of your department, making sure your team works to and maintains the company’s high standards and achieves their targets. In doing so you will oversee areas of projects up to the value of £9 million, such as finding out client requirements, researching the cost of materials, equipment and labour, collecting material quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors, as well as assessing commercial risks on a project. Additionally, you will analyse company data, exchange rates and prices and using software packages, prepare and submit quotations for work, and help with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
You will have
To be successful as M&E Estimating Manager you will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Estimator within the M&E sector with a proven track record of success. Experience in team leading and/or project management would also be a great help to any potential candidates.
