The Industrial Door Engineer role itself — where you will be responsible for installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of industrial doors, barriers, turnstiles, and roller shutters. Operating across multiple commercial/industrial sites in the southwest. More specifically:
• Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial doors, barriers, turnstiles, floor barriers, and roller shutters
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults and breakdowns efficiently and safely
• Reactive in-hours callouts to multiple sites as required
• Accurate completion of all necessary documentation
You will have
To be successful as an Industrial Door Engineer here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- Previous experience in a similar service engineering role, specifically with industrial doors, barriers, and shutters
- A Full UK driving licence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Reliability, responsibility, and ability to work efficiently in high-security environments
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Desirable: DHF Industrial/Garage Door training, DHF Automated Gate and Barrier training, and a CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
