The Industrial Door Engineer job itself which involves a dynamic combination of installation, servicing, maintenance, and problem resolution on various sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas. More specifically:
- Engage with roller shutters, sectional doors, industrial doors, and loading bays.
- Handle faults and breakdowns efficiently and safely.
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks on a range of door systems.
- Respond to reactive call-outs, ensuring customer satisfaction with prompt service.
You will have
To be successful as an Industrial Door Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Service Engineer, particularly in door installations and repairs.
- A full UK Driving licence to travel between various job sites.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures relevant to the industry.
- Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Completed DHF Industrial Door training; a CSCS card is preferred.
