The H&S Consultant/Health and Safety Consultant job itself which represents an excellent opportunity to drive our client’s industry-leading H&S Culture.
Your main priority will be to provide H&S support to multiple sites across the North Thames region. This includes the St Albans/ Biggleswade/ Hitchin/ Bishops Stortford/ Hoddesdon/ Sawbridgeworth/ Berkhamsted/ Aylesbury and Stevenage areas. More specifically:
- Carrying out Site Inspections and Site Support Visits,
- Providing technical & HSE support to Site Management Teams
- Undertaking targeted monthly checks
- Attending monthly meetings
- Supporting Client Regional HSE Advisor
- Finding practical solutions to issues that arise on site.
- Interacting with site management teams and building trust relationships
- Incident and accident investigation
- Carrying out External PC / Client Inspections
- Delivering In-house training for operatives and management teams.
You will have
To be successful as H&S Consultant/Health and Safety Consultant here, you will be currently working within the construction/engineering sector with a good track record as a Health & Safety Manager, SHEQ Manager or Health & Safety Officer. Plus a healthy mix of the following:
- UK Based Construction / House Building experience.
- NEBOSH General /Construction Certificate.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Available Immediately
- UK Driving Licence
