The Field Sales Engineer magnetics & power job itself where you will be responsible for the business development activities of the magnetics products, from technical design stage to commercial account management.

Based on customer requirements, you'll recommend appropriate magnetic solutions in conjunction with the Technical Sales Manager, considering factors such as magnetic strength, size, shape, material and cost-effectiveness.

More specifically:

  • Produce and implement a profitable Sales Strategy for growth across the UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including technical specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules to win business and build customer satisfaction
  • Building and developing strong customer relationships by understanding needs and requirements
  • Building and developing strong customer relationships by understanding needs and requirements.
  • To educate clients and colleagues about the products, best use, practice and application
  • Present and demonstrate to customers the benefits of products in terms of specification, quality, price, technical benefits, logistics support, timely delivery, etc
  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales/margin targets and personal objectives
  • Supporting customers from design through to production and beyond
  • Working with Strategic Suppliers
  • Keeping informed regarding industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies to remain competitive and identify new business opportunities

You will have

To be successful as Field Sales Engineer here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • An in depth understanding of magnetic materials, including, cores, filters, chokes, inductors, transformers and their application in a range of industries.
  • Knowledge of the UK power supply industry and customer base
  • Knowledge of magnetic component design in power supplies and filters
  • An understanding of EMC design issues.
  • Proven strategic business development.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience and a passion for finding resolutions to technical challenges.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Computer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word & PowerPoint

As a Field Sales Engineer Power, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £50K-£55K + Package.
