Service & installation in fire & security for a BAFE accredited industry leading provider of Fire Protection and Security systems who have been established for over 30 years, are looking for an experienced multi-disciplined fire and security engineer to join the growing company, serving customers of quality and prestige.

The Fire & Security Electrician job itself where you will join a high calibre team undertaking installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Emergency lighting systems. More specifically:

• Installation of emergency lighting systems and completion of minor works certification.
• Diagnosing & repairing faults and propose solutions without supervision.
• Utilising IT related products for Security and Communication devices

You will have

To be successful as a Fire & Security Electrician you will have a healthy mix of the following:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Emergency lighting systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company
• Competent in the Installation of emergency lighting systems and completion of minor works certification.
• Ability to diagnose, repair faults and propose solutions without supervision.
• Must be competent in IT related products for Security and Communication devices and Computer literate in MS Office suite (preferably Word & Excel)
• Share experience and knowledge with other team members

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Qualifications/Experience in BS5266/FIA Units preferable in IEE Wiring regulations BS7671 18th Edition
• Training plan provided to keep up with current standards and products.
• Proven IP experience

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Must have a full, clean driving licence.
• An ECS or CSCS card is desirable.
• Must be self-motivated, well presented and have diligent work ethic as working remotely from the office.
• Must be able to satisfy vetting to BS7858 and Enhanced DBS checks will be required for this role.
• PASMA and IPAF desirable

As Fire & Security Electrician you will enjoy a basic salary of up to £38,000 - £45,000 DOE plus overtime and standby, callout rota.  OTE of £50K +
