You will like

The CNC Programmer Operator role itself, where you'll be a key part of the manufacturing process. You will operate Mori-Seki and Dainichi CNC lathes with FANUC OT controls, producing high-precision components from technical drawings. Your responsibilities will include programming, running the machines efficiently, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring quality standards are met at all times. The role also involves stock management, ensuring materials are handled correctly, and working within a safety-conscious environment. You will have

To be successful as a CNC Programmer Operator here, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

  • Proven experience programming and operating CNC lathes, preferably with Mori-Seki or Dainichi machines
  • Strong mechanical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues effectively
  • At least 1 year of experience working with FANUC controls
  • Experience in materials handling and warehouse safety practices
  • Knowledge of tooling setups, adjustments, and quality inspection techniques
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

As a CNC Lathe Programmer Operator, you will enjoy a competitive salary between £35K and £38.5K per annum, depending on experience. The package includes a standard 37-hour week, with early finishes on Fridays, plus a company pension scheme and free on-site parking.
