The Architectural Technician job role itself where, as part of a talented team, you will be working on a wide and diverse range of projects, including heritage and multi residential projects producing technical working drawings in Revit or AutoCAD. You will be interpreting the client briefs and producing technical documentation in line with the latest regulations.
The role will provide you with opportunity to work on an extremely diverse range of scales and sectors supporting the technical team. As a key member of a relatively small team, their collaborative office environment provides an excellent platform to absorb the day to day workings of an architectural practice.
You will have
To be successful as Architectural Technician, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- Min. 2-3 years’ experience
- Construction technology related qualification.
- An interest in post-planning design development / drawing and document production and a good understanding of building construction and methods.
- Ability to work as part of a team but also individually – must be able to take initiative
- Excellent written and spoken English
- A good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and RIBA stage 4-7 stages.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD an advantage.
- CIAT Registered (or a desire to become registered / chartered)
- Full UK/ EU Driving licence
