The job is not ‘just call centre’ but is a key Technical Support Agent (call centre or contact centre) job dealing with aftersales support for customers of technical products and appliances. You will be communicating by phone & email, liasing between the customer, field service engineers, suppliers and manufacturers and assisting with spare parts ordering and parts distribution to engineers. Specifically to identify products faults and corrective actions, offer technical advice, order & allocate parts, if cannot be resolved by phone, book couriers to collect for repair, and update the CRM system, i.e WIP job status changes on web-based job management system.
You will have
To be successful as Technical Support Agent you will have good experience in customer service contact centre, service desk or similar environments, ideally in engineering, electronics appliances or related technical industry. OR an ex-engineer looking for an office based role would be great! Geat work ethic and good work record in terms of attendance, punctuality. You will need to be experienced with Microsoft products including Word and Excel. You will demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills and ability to complete administration tasks quickly and accurately. You will be a flexible committed team player and be able to think on your feet and thrive under pressure.
