The Soft Services Facilities Manager job itself where you will provide leadership to the team for the co-ordination and delivery of contracted cleaning and security services across various Bristol sites. More specifically:
- Full ownership and accountability for the activities within the role, including the Implementation and training of Management Systems, ensuring all activities are undertaken in compliance with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.
- Conduct monthly audits with customer for Security and cleaning activities.
- Conduct monthly 1 2 1’s with direct reports and hold Monthly Team Brief for larger team.
- Actively promotes the reward and recognition scheme.
- Out of Hours Call Out on a rotating basis Management Reporting
- Responsible for site (s) health and Safety compliance
- Managing contract performance in line with service level agreements and key performance indicators.
- Managing people related issues such as investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management.
You will have
To be successful as Soft Services Facilities Manager you will have a healthy mix of:
- Extensive experience of working in a similar role within Facilities Management, including cleaning and / or security industry at a similar level.
- Good commercial and communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication at all levels.
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.
- Experience in both defining and delivering to annual budgets relating to all customer services expenditure.
- IOSH –Managing Safely
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Full driving licence valid for use in the United Kingdom
