Due to continued growth, we are now seeking to recruit a Geotechnical Engineer to lead and take responsibility of the geotechnical elements of their offshore projects.

The Project Engineer job itself based onshore at our client’s office in Bristol where you will provide the Project Manager with support during the day to day running of a project. More specifically:
• Office supervision and final QA of geotechnical data • Technical input to tenders • Client interaction on a technical level • Supervision of ongoing offshore operations from a technical level • Assisting the Project Manager in the project lifecycle • Approval of lab testing schedules • Generation of design soil profiles • Performance of geotechnical engineering including but not limited bearing capacity calculations, piled foundation design, liquefaction assessment and pile driving analyses • Creation of engineering reports • Participate in any health and safety talks, meetings or training
You will have
To be successful as Project Engineer , you will have a key eye for details and have excellent geotechnical knowledge and relevant experience from the field and a healthy mix of the following:
- Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or equivalent in education and experience
- Minimum 3 years experience of civil, geotechnical or marine engineering work
- Skilled with programming in VBA or Python Experienced with machine learning would be a plus
