The job is a game of two halves, blue collar & white you might say!
White collar: Parts coordinator role, liasing between field service engineers, suppliers and manufacturers, assisting with spare parts ordering and parts distribution to engineers. You will be coordinating with suppliers globally e.g China to identify and order spare parts, allocate spare parts received to engineers and updating the system, i.e WIP job status changes on our web-based job management system, run reports, monitor KPI's/SLA's, problem-solving & complaints resolution.
Blue Collar: Parts Operator: Loading/unloading palletised stock and goods inwards duties, booking parts to the warehouse, storing parts in bins, stock control, Also Pick/Pack/Ship, includes printing pick list, picking electrical goods, securely packing products & shipping/dispatching according to required timeframes.
You will have
Good experience in customer servivce, service desk or similar environments, ideally in consumer products appliances, or related industry. OR an ex-engineer looking for an office based role would be great! Geat work ethic and good work record in terms of attendance, punctuality. You will need to be experienced with Microsoft products including Word and Excel. You will show ability to complete administration tasks quickly and accurately. You will be a flexible committed team player and be able to think on your feet and thrive under pressure.
Plus due to the warehouse/parts operator component, must be physically fit, able to do heavy lifting and operate in a busy warehouse environment.
You will get
£10PH-£12PH negotiable on experience, so roughly £18K-£22K PA, flexible full-time hours, and a rewarding permanent job in a supportive team and a successful company!
