The Marketing Officer job itself where your role will focus on delivery of the agreed sales promotion strategy for the organisation and it's business units. The role will actively contribute to the achievement of sales targets for business units by ensuring effective, timely, well-targeted, excellently formulated and presented promotion of products and services.
As a Marketing Officer your main duties will be:
- Oversee CRM platform ensuring its useful structure and smooth functioning and that it is kept up to date with the information that is defined as strategically important for central and business unit client and member management
- Propose useful CRM analytics to management team members to support the delivery of business units’ sales targets and delivers agreed analysis portfolio. This includes sales analysis by the department and for the whole company, with a product offering analysis to support decision making about portfolio development and client analysis including guidance about top tier clients, their scope of interest, their expectations/requirements, etc.
- Liaise with divisions business managers to develop sales promotion campaigns, ensuring the right timeline, the appropriate message and defining the right target groups for each campaign.
- Develop and propose the campaign metrics to assess the effectiveness of the campaigns for approval of marketing manager, analyses the metrics and suggests conclusions.
- Support business units in following up of the sales leads by contributing to the preparation of the right pitch.
- Manage the day to day delivery of the sales and sponsorship agreements with 3rd parties.
- Supports Marketing Manager in analysing their effectiveness and is proactive in proposing new ventures and concepts in this field.
- Oversee the day to day delivery of required services optimising the use of staff and resources.
- Actively look for new ideas and opportunities to enhance the sales analysis and promotion services
- Provide reports and information for Marketing Manager to assess the performance and operation of the sales/promotion services.
- Work to create an efficient, reliable and functional internal process to facilitate the effective functioning of the sales and promotion services.
- Undertake Line Management/Supervision responsibilities for assigned team.
- Ensure GDPR compliance in marketing activities.
This is an office-based role with a working pattern of 37 hours per week, Mon – Thursday 8.30am-5pm and on Friday 8.30am4.30pm.
You will have
To be successful as Marketing Officer you will possess the following:
- Marketing/ technical degree/ NVQ level 4 or 5 or strong educational background
- Professional/ technical knowledge in relevant background
- Extensive experience in a role with similar scope of duties
- Excellent communication skills • Strong operational skills
- Business minded and results oriented
- Commercially aware with good business acumen #
- Good planning and project management skills
- Foreign language knowledge (French or Chinese) – not essential
