This Maintenance Engineer Nights job itself where you will provide engineering support to the production stream working as part of the engineering team, within your competency and skill set (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic). The plant runs for 24 hours, 7 days a week. The role will be permanent working a permanent night shift, 6PM- 6AM – 3 on 3 off, meaning loads of time off!  The role of the Maintenance Engineer Nights is to work across busy production factory, duties and responsibilities include;

• Responsibility for providing a comprehensive maintenance function covering plant, equipment and auxiliary services.
• Strive to continuously improve asset performance by engaging in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities. 
• Execute engineering work orders as assigned by the Engineering Plant Manager, Maintenance Co-Ordinator in a timely and efficient manner. 
• When issues arise in the production process or on a production line, identify the cause of the issue, initiate an appropriate action plan to resolve, then report and document actions taken. 
• Escalate issues to the Engineering Plant Manager as advised by the company escalation procedure. 
• Develop, operate and maintain a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for the production streams and site service.
• Complete and receive relevant hand-over documentation and communication to next shift or from the previous shift to ensure continuity
• Ensure all work completed is accurately documented in the maintenance management system daily shift report in a format detailed by the Engineering Manager
• Initiate and drive continuous improvement activity in both production stream and engineering department projects
• Work closely with the production stream team using continuous improvement methodologies to focus/prioritise problem-solving efforts to improve asset performance
• Follow complex electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical assembly drawings to ensure the prompt identification of production equipment faults
