The Landscape Architect Graduate role itself where you will be reporting on a day-to-day basis to the landscape team lead and working with other members of the landscape team as well as with other environmental specialists in other company offices.
You will provide specialist consultancy support for landscape design, landscape management and landscape planning. You will operate nationally, producing high-quality landscape and visual assessment and landscape design outputs for a number of sectors including Waste, Minerals, Land and Property Development, Infrastructure Development, Energy and Utilities and Insurance Companies and will provide services including landscape planning and design, environmental co-ordination, landscape master planning, visualisation and interpretation procedures. More specifically:
- Project support and design from initial sketch plans through to detailed planting schemes and construction detailing
- Production of graphics and presentation material for senior members and other consultancy teams on projects
- Landscape design, planning and management, preparation of landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA) documents
This is a full-time post loosely based from offices in Sheffield. However, please talk to us if you would like to work flexibly and we will also consider job share/part-time arrangements.
You will have
To be successful as Landscape Architect Graduate you will have
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or architecture or equivalent professional experience.
- Post Graduate Qualification in Landscape or equivalent professional experience.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD and Sketch Up
- You will be required to work on and support multiple projects running concurrently, from concept creation through to completion.
- You will need to combine the ability to develop big ideas with exceptional creative and technical execution.
- You will need to be able to manage your own workload and time as well as being part of multi-discipline teams
- Be enthusiastic to learn new skills
