This Chartered Mechanical Building Services Engineer role is a Senior role within the company, and you will be working alongside an Electrical counterpart who is also relatively new to the business. You will be the Mechanical Lead on all projects, and the goal for this role is for it to develop into a mentoring role through bringing in more junior engineers and helping them develop their skills and career. Initially, however, this is a ‘hands on role, where you will be in charge of tasks such as: Calculating heat loss/gains, calculating U Values, Ventilation system design, heating/chilled water system design and delivering BREEAM rates projects.
You will have
To be successful as Chartered Mechanical Building Services Engineer, as this role spans a number of different sectors, including Defence, healthcare, retail, education, hospitality and leisure, and so a rounded exposure to these sectors will be advantageous. Ideally, the company is also looking for someone who is a Chartered Engineer, or at least working towards their Chartership/ with experience of working on projects ranging in value from £3 – 10 Million. Also, someone who has worked in a mentoring role would be advantageous, and someone who has experience of using AutoCAD and/or REVIT MEP and/or Navisworks
