The BIM Coordinator job itself, where you will be supporting the business in the modelling of Mechanical, Electrical & Public health services within a Revit environment.
You will be assisting engineers with the coordination of MEP elements and aiding the production of 2D project deliverables within Revit from the Preliminary stage to Contract Issue.
Working directly with the engineers & the BIM/Model manager, you will be responsible for prioritising and managing your own workload.
You will have
To be successful as BIM Coordinator, you will have practical working experience as a Revit Coordinator preferably within a Building Services environment and be fully immersed in the world of BIM. With a keen eye for attention to detail, be well organized, methodical, pro-active & self-motivated. Experience of scheduling from Revit as well as experience inputting design data into Revit and knowledge of BIM protocols and BEPs.
You will have a healthy mix of the following skills/abilities:
- Produce clear, complete & consistent drawings from Revit.
- Model and coordinate MEP services within Revit.
- Contribute to the development of BIM processes and procedures.
- Undertake family modifications.
- Facilitate/Run model reviews.
Desired Software proficiencies
- Revit (Required), BIM 360 (Desirable), AutoCAD (Desirable), Navisworks Manage (Desirable), Solibri (Desirable), Dynamo (Desirable) & RF Tools (Desirable)
