The Bench Repair Technician Fitter Assembler job which is varied and will see you involved with service, repair, maintenance, assembly and testing of tools/equipment. More specifically:
- Repair and final testing of Handheld hydraulic tools, Hydraulic power units (petrol, diesel & 3-phase electric powered), 2-Stroke petrol handheld tools, Electric powered hand-held tools, Petrol powered Floor Saws
- Respraying of repaired tools if requested
- Assembly and commissioning of hydraulic hose sets and hydraulic hand-held tooling
- Modify equipment based upon customer requirements
- General workshop & site maintenance and repairs
- Recording of repair assessments and parts required
- Prepare costing including required labour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 9AM-5PM with 45 min break! #OldSkool
You will have
To be successful as Bench Repair Technician you will have a healthy mix of the following:
- Experience with servicing / repairing petrol and hydraulic powered tools
- Basic knowledge of petrol- and diesel-powered engines
- The ability to diagnose and problem solve issues
- Some computer skills would be an advantage but not essential
- Full UK driving license
