The Assistant Quantity Surveyor Estimator role itself is at Trainee/Assistant level but will touch on end-to-end Quantity Surveyor / QS responsibilities for jobs in Bristol & South West. The successful candidate will sit within a capable team responsible for commercial, operational, contractual and client needs. The scope of the role covers pre-contract works, assisting with pricing and estimating, tendering, procurement, value engineering, monthly measurement, monthly accounts and reporting, payments, variations, cash flow forecasting, contract management, project coordination, retentions & contract/project closeouts.
You will have
To be successful as Assistant Quantity Surveyor Estimator you will have:
- Previous commercial experience in commercial new build or refurbishment construction projects
- HNC in QS / Quantity Surveying or comparable construction or commercial qualification required.
- Good IT skills in MS Office & ideally industry-specific software.
